NEW engine harness for serpentine swaps!
Testing the waters to see if there's interest in a serpentine swap specific engine harness replacement WITH my 4ga charging system upgrade. Correct terminals, connectors and flame retardant/heat resistance loom protection up to 400F! Includes remote junction block, 4ga specific lugs for you to route the 4ga leads practically wherever you need! PM for more details/questions. Price for kit is $209 plus shipping and is complete from firewall bulkhead out with all GM color coded SXL j1128 spec wiring.
I should mention this kit is for large cap HEI distributors with internal coil but I can integrate anything into what you may need. PM for specific needs for pricing. Last edited by gmachinz; 07-07-2014 at 07:39 PM. |

Re: NEW engine harness for serpentine swaps!
The engine harnesses are made up right now-I am currently out of stock on the headlight harnesses but should have 4 sets made up by the weekend-I've been busy lately with electric fan kits for customers overseas so I haven't had time to replenish my other lighting harnesses until now. I don't currently have a climate control harness for our trucks yet....I recently completed my harness board layout for replacement climate control harnesses for 78-88 Montes and the trucks won't be much different.

I'm definitely interested.... Pictures would help generate a whole lot more interest around here though

Re: NEW engine harness for serpentine swaps!
I'll get some pics posted here shortly....there are many varieties of options from 73-87 and 88-91 years for Suburbans and K-5's....but the engine harness includes washer/wiper motor wiring and I am setup to offer the front lighting harness although I haven't pushed them much-I've been building them for people as they request-some want integrated relays for headlights without splices, etc. Some connectors are obsolete but I have an extensive collection of nice cores to use so right now specialty OEM connectors is not an issue for me-now that could change in the future once my supply of various one-off connectors begin to dwindle but for the presentime, I'm well stocked.

Re: NEW engine harness for serpentine swaps!
Here's a couple pics of what I'm working on tonight-its for a customer who has an 85 cab and wants a complete engine harness with wiper/washer as well as an integrated relay headlight/front lighting harness. I showed a closeup of the 4ga SXL wire I use for my 4ga charging system upgrade.
I'll take more pics soon-I need to get some sleep....lol. |
