Just an Intro
Hey Guys,
I am new to here!!! Trying to figure everything out. I have a 65 Chevy Stepside that I have owned for 23 years. I started the build back then and just got it out of storage last Friday. I haven't touched it in 13 years. In the last 20+ years alot has changed as far as resources!!! And from what I can see there are a lot of knowledgeable and talented people on here. Great Forum!!!!!! |

The one picture is of when I brought it home 13 years of dust!! The other is after I washed it.. I will post more pics of the progress. I am currently building a 71 LT1 for it. I'm backing it up with a built Turbo 400. It's a shame I left this sit for so long. I've been tournament Bass fishing for the last 10 years. So I haven't had the extra cash to finish it. But this time it will get done!!! Thanks for the "Welcomes". I look forward to interacting on here.

Welcome! Looks like you have a good start! Interesting story you have. My truck I got in 1996 then shortly thereafter I ended up finding a nice 71 Stepside which I ended up building and eventually selling and my dad had ended up with my 65C10 and he rebuilt the original 230 engine and left it in the bed until 2012 when I was finally able to convince him to let me have it back. Got it running that year and this year I'm finally going to paint her up and get her on the road.
