powerglide kickdown linkage
Trying to get my passing gear linkage setup on my powerglide. Does the linkage fit into the upper hole so it travels the same way as the throttle Vavle linkage or does it go into the lower hole so it travel the opposite direction of the TV linkage?

Re: powerglide kickdown linkage
If I a correct it goes in the lower hole . You can move it when it is unhooked and it will have a slight spring tension. This is the direction it should move under acceleration.

Re: powerglide kickdown linkage
Try this pic for reference.
My KD cable is on the bottom.. There needs to be something that slips so it doesn't kick down till its wide open. Here is another close up pic.
