It got me thinking. (not a good thing) Has anyone grafted the cab of a pickup into a suburban or panel truck to make a unibody pickup like the old ford f100s?

Does anyone have pics of this or a build thread link? I think a 60-66 unibody chevy on bags could be a really cool truck.

This was the plan for my 64 burb....kinda similar idea....not really lol. I decided not to because I felt it was too clean to mess with. Thinking about getting another one to chop up...

Re: Suburban/panel unibody pickup conversion

This one is sweet as heck!!!! I totally would love to do this but being as rare Suburbans and Panels are, I don't think I could.

Re: Suburban/panel unibody pickup conversion

Are y'all sure that this wasn't produced either for none us markets or buy a coach company? The grey one and the blue one are very similar and both have longer b-pillars than a pickup cab.

Re: Suburban/panel unibody pickup conversion

not much.
I saved them off this site...
the guy seemed to think , or was told it was a factory conversion.
my guess is it was a well done home conversion...
I check the properties on the photo, and there were 2 dates april 5th 2011, and November 8th 2011... that might be when I saved the pics to my computer, I most likely posted in the thread too. which ever thread it is...
