early classic industries power disc brake issues...
So my 69 c10 has the ECE power disc brakes, they worked amazing only been installed for maybe 7 months. Then suddenly the other day I noticed the pedal is VERY hard to push.also when you push it in you can hear it making a almost "woosh" type sound. Almost like a sucking sound of air??
Really strange. Any ideas? These were working great, and want to get them back to how they were. Thanks! |

Booster trouble? Hopefully just a poorly-seated seal where vacuum pipe enters; else, replacement time?

Thanks Sam, I will check what you mentioned. Hopefully the booster isn't toast, I haven't logged more than maybe 1, 000 miles since the whole new drivetrain/brake conversion

Did you get a hold of ECE and let them know you are having a problem, as their customer service is top notch...
