suggestions on an 85 c10 engine build

Hello
I Picked up a 1985 c10 truck it is in really good shape considering where I got it from.
So this is gonna be sort of a fall into winter project.
I grabbed a 75 350 stock Short block as far as I can tell.
My initial thoughts are to build the 350 to make 300 hp
As my weekend driver. (ie pull boat and or camper.)
So I would appreciate any input as to combos that would make 300hp for a reasonable cost.
