Stock Thermostat Housing Question
On my 78 454, the stock thermostat housing has a port opening thats plugged now and the neck where the hose connects from the radiator. This is suppose to be a vacuum port, but for what application?

a temp sensitive vacuum tree.. on my 77 there are 3 ports.. one goes to the distributor advance, one goes to the carb, and the other one either goes to the carb or to the smog pump plumbing.. cant remember since I dont have the smog pump on there anymore..
