To bag, or not to bag?

That's the question isn't it lol. Haven't decided on which way to go with this build... getting ready to stain some wood for the bed this weekend but started contemplating on if I should go big (or in this case low) or go home.

What do ya'll think?

Plan on going with wide white walls and stock wheels.

Personally,, I kind of like to keep things close to OEM as I can with only a few creature comforts.. so I'd say,, No Bags

I would leave it stock or as close as possible. but its your truck, do what YOU like!

Having owned probably close to 20 bagged vehicles now, it's a no brainer from my standpoint. Leave it all ‘stock’ and patina’d and bag it.
Air ride is very reliable, fun, smooth, and you can’t get the low look without..

Whats your budget?
You can bag it with a manual toggle system with dropped spindles and a a mild notch for $1500. That will get you a slightly lower look when aired out than a static system, but will be taller than a static system at ride height ( the lowest static drop you could safely do). Spend $6k in parts and get porterbuilt front, rear and an accuair system that will give you the best ride and air look we all strive to own.
Go big or go home right?

Save the wood staining. Your going to chop your floor or raise it anyway and have to recut and stain the wood at that time

It does all depend on personal taste and budget.... and what you want to do with the truck. I prefer the bags for the reasons mentioned above. Smooth ride, ability to go lower, and that nice stance when aired out. Also, the ability to go higher, can sometimes be a plus if there is a steep driveway, etc.

When doing a bag system, just make sure to get all the necessary components that make the system work well. Adjustable trac bar is a good idea, drop spindles, shock relocators, etc.

Nothing wrong with a static drop though. We can always put together a system that works best for you and your budget, whether you go static or air. Love those 63's!

I was looking at a kit from slammed specialties with a monster notch at it was for around $1500. Not too bad if you ask me. I'm going to put a bed in the truck for now and make provisions for the wheels later. Still got a few things ahead before I make a decision for a notch. Either way I'll be ready for it soon.

My buddy just did one on his 72 and it's sweet. He's got accuair.
