Post Your Steering Wheel
Hi Guys. I couldn't find this thread in our history or its really far back. Regardless,
I think it's a neat idea for a thread. I don't have a pic of mine handy I'll get one up ASAP. It's the stock green. It's cracked in a few places and whatever the material in the center used to be is a shriveled shell of itself. No coming back I'm afraid. I love it's thin style though and design I've seen a whole bunch of great looking (and hopefully performing! wheels in people's profiles, etc. but let's see them side by sides. I'll probably get a new wheel around the new year so any additional input is greatly appreciated. Style wise, I like the wood look, and I like em thin. Can't wait to see those perfect circles.

Re: Post Your Steering Wheel
Yes, it's an original 64/65 Chevelle wheel. It's held up great for the past 50 years

Re: Post Your Steering Wheel
Wow really nice and you have a gorgeous truck.
I love the color scheme. Yeah I feel more narrow of a steering wheel circumference would do me nice as well.

Re: Post Your Steering Wheel
I had this one on the 1972 Chevy I just sold, and I kept it and put on one from a 90's GMT400 truck.

Re: Post Your Steering Wheel
I really dig this color scheme Deadhead. It fits the period nicely and has great natural appeal to the eyes.

From what I've read it looks great and the wheel and your truck certainly do. The thread will be a good reference for me when I'm replacing my wheel. Your old one looks like mine now , cracked a bit different though

Re: Post Your Steering Wheel
Its not wood, but these 67-68's are thin like ya like. Best look IMO. . Easier to repair i would think, as there is no grain. The wood ones look good too though!!
