Re: mufflers
I think a 2 1/2" system, with H or x pipe added would be the way to go. The mellowest sound you get, will go all the way to the rear bumper ...(if you dump em under the truck ,say @ the rear axle), you will have a "drone" to deal with. You will hear many choices on mufflers, but my thoughts would be a pair of 18" body Magna Flows? Longhorn

Re: mufflers
OK crazy, 50 Chevy pickup (not an LS just a 350) running 2-1/2" pipes with H pipe and Borla mufflers, nice sound and no drone. Only advise I would give is make sure the mufflers are back by the bed and not under the cab...Jim

Re: mufflers
Ive always ran magnaflow on my LS motors and loved them. I did step up and go with a 2 into 1 3" system this time running through a 3" magnaflow muffler and couldn't be happier.

Re: mufflers
Thanks bro, that was something that I forgot to add....yes, the farther back the muffs are, the more mellow the sound will be Longhorn
