Edelbrock 2101 intake

Has anyone used this intake manifold and will it work with the stock quadrajet and not need any adapters.

Re: Edelbrock 2101 intake

I have used a 2101 but used an adapter in order to use a square bore but it actually has a spread bore (Quadrajet) flange. Should work for you with no problems.

Re: Edelbrock 2101 intake

I think I have a 2101 on my engine. It has no provision for EGR. It allegedly fits both square and spreadbore. I'm running a Rochester on it.

Re: Edelbrock 2101 intake

2101 is merely the item number for the "Performer", specifically for small block chevy. For whatever reason, they didn't originally use the Performer name? It was probably the original model for this line of products. I had one on my first Camaro somewhere around 1980.....long before the Performer name.

Re: Edelbrock 2101 intake

2101 is a different performer intake it's set up for the quadrajet carb and no egr. The 2701 is set up for holleys and quick fuel and carbs like that

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

Re: Edelbrock 2101 intake

If I get that intake and just delete the egr and that ported vacuum switch everything SHOULD run fine?

Re: Edelbrock 2101 intake

You don't have to change the intake to delete the EGR and ported vacuum switch.

It'll run like a pre '75 car.
