Double Wall Hard Top - New Lower Price

I am selling my double wall top to make room for my single wall. Top has some blemishes/cracks typical for its age, but overall in good condition. The top currently has slider windows and Hickey roof rack, which are not included. However, I will fill the screw holes from the rack with fiberglass resin, and provide stock side glass. The hatch is in very good shape with all hardware and original T-handle. I do not have key for handle, but it can easily be re-keyed. The top is currently on my Blazer, so I can deliver within reasonable distance if you help remove it. Asking $400 obo.

Re: Double Wall Hard Top

Its getting close to winter! Someone needs this top. Make an offer! If it doesn't sell, I'm going to keep the hatch and glass and cut up the rest for the dumpster.

Oh thats sad - if I wasn't so far away I'd love to have it! Right now I only have a soft top but I can't transport it that far...

Re: Double Wall Hard Top

Please don't cut it up. That looks to be in pretty good condition and someone will buy it eventually. I would but I am way too far away. One day I'm going back to Cali and snatching up all the good parts. Guess I should have brought some with me...

Re: Double Wall Hard Top

Believe me, I don't want to cut it up. But its a matter of space. This top is on my Blazer and my single wall top is in my roof hoist. If I had garage space for another roof hoist, I could keep it around a little longer. Someone make me some kind of offer so i don't have to waste this top. I don't think it is even worth it to ship this monster, and I really don't want to put the effort into crating it up for freight company.

Maybe try selling it off in pieces as patch panels just an idea better than hauling it for trash.

I still have it. I can definitely hold onto it until the end of the month for you unless it sells before that. I really do not want to scrap it.

Re: Double Wall Hard Top

Well, since nobody wants a really nice top with great hatch, she has a date with the sawzall I gues this will increase the value of the one that are still out there! I will be keeping the hatch and mounting hardware as spares. Sad...

That's just sad. If you do this just don't tell us. There will be a disturbance in the force that will be felt by all. And you will not increase the value of my top this way.

Can I just get a shipper to pick up the top minus all the stuff you're keeping? Hate to see it get chopped up.

Re: Double Wall Hard Top

Do you still have it and do you think it'll fit in a 6' bed? Have a 2000 GMC Sierra just not sure if it'll fit. If you think it'll fit II'll make you an offer and offend you with it haha

Hasselmaster - I would sell the hatch, but it would come with a free top I am really looking to move the entire top out of my garage. I see that you are on the east coast, so shipping the whole thing would not be an option for me.

68Mike - I still have the top. It is still on my Blazer doing its job. It won't fit "in" a 6-foot bed, but it will sit ontop of the bedrails facing backwards if it is secured with c-clamps to the rails or ratched straps over the top. I have seen this done by many people on this board. The current asking price is $400, which is less than I would ask for the hatch alone. I'm not sure I'd accept much less, but let me hear what you got in mind.

Re: Double Wall Hard Top

A double wall just sold on eBay a few days ago for 900.00. That's another option for you. Just let the buyer know it's their responsibility for pick up.

Re: Double Wall Hard Top

I need a patch piece for my dbl-wall. It slipped off the trailer on the freeway and got a corner grond off. I'll pay you for the patch piece and pick up the whole top if that works. Thanks

Are you offering to pay the full asking price, or only a portion of it since you only need a portion of the top?

Re: Double Wall Hard Top

The part I need is only worth $50. Then the top is only good for parts. The back window is the only thing useable. One of mine is real good and one is iffy. I could maybe see $150 for that. It's going to take time and gas to get it and then I have it in my way. $200 and it's out of your way, or win you cut it up I'll buy the patch piece plus shipping. Thanks

How do you figure the part is only worth $50? Your top is surely devalued more than $50 with the damaged corner. I'd say the part is worth more than you think considering it is coming off a nice top that is currently being used and not an unusable busted up mess. Also, The hatch I have is easily worth $300 to $400 based on one I sold a year ago, and other nice originals that have been for sale on the board. The repops are junk, and there are not many originals left without cracks through the T-handle hole, much less with a nice original T-handle with working lock. Who knows, my top may be in better shape than yours and you could just use the whole thing instead of grafting in a patch. I have already repaired all of the screw holes and cracks shown in the pictures with fiberglass resin and a skim coat of bondo. Next up was restoring the texture over the repairs and paint to match. If you want the top for a patch panel I will sell it for $200 without the hatch.
