Wiring preference
Ok Guys... I am starting to look towards purchasing a wiring harness for my truck... Which wiring harnesses do you think is the best and why do you think it is better than the others that are offered...
the two that I am looking at the most is American Autowire and Painless but open to suggestions... Thanks for your input... Dan

Re: Wiring preference
I have the American autowire for mine, haven't installed it yet. I choose it over the painless because its vehicle specific. I've done a painless kit before and it took a little longer to install because its just a generic fit harness.

Re: Wiring preference
AAW or M & H if you want to keep it the most original, plug & play.
AAW & M&H are basically the same, they use to be partners. I'm replacing every wire in my truck and it's a mixture between these 2. Gary

Re: Wiring preference
As of last night, I am in the same position. I am very interested in advice on replacing my harness too especially from those who have done it. What advice would you give on brand, options, technique to a novice?

Re: Wiring preference
This is the same reason I am using the AAW kit. Haven't bought, but will be soon.
