Looking to see what pan you guys are running on 5.3-6.0 lsx swaps?

That looks very similar to an F body pan.

Mast LS pan on left, F-body pan on right. As you can see, they are very different. I had to research this very carefully for a project in "anternate tinkerings". The steering rack in my riceburner was just too close to fit any of the stock GM pans so I used the MAST pan.

So did your project rice burner have a porter built extreme front drop member?? I was more concerned with the pan clearance in the rear with truck is aired out. A truck pan is goin to be too low. I have an f body pan I can try. Just was thinking with all the Ls swapped porter built stuff I have seen out there someone would have crossed this road. The mast pan looks like the holley swap pan I used in a couple Tri fives to clear front cross member.

Challenges, we've delt with all kinds of oil pan sump clearance issue for years with LS motor apps and have never found a one size fits all oil pan solution. When you think an F-body pan or Corvette LS2 or 3 pan (pictured) will work you can still have interference problems because as the Sump depth is moved up (more ground clearance) it usually moves forward in design also too to retain the capacity (min 6 quarts) Heck the GTO pan has a Front sump. Different windage trays and pick-up tubes can be problematic also. Any and all of these can present problems with cross members, K-members and steering linkage clearances. Truck (Vortecs) sumps are always the deepest

I have done over 40 Ls swaps(several stock c10 cross members) I wasn't being a guppie. Just trying to save time on changing 3 pans. YouTube unstang not my 1st rodeo(not yelling) lol

I have a F-body pan on my Porterbuilt extreme dropmember truck with no clearance issues. Fitz - the dimensions are hard to read on your diagram.
