Anyone after a 1970 Jimmy project?
Not mine. Another member gave me a heads-up on this:

Great deal for a truck you could drive away in. That would be my winter beater/ beach runner, again wrong coast.

Needs quite s bit of work. But could be a good start for someone willing to do it. Or just beat on it some more. I like his rear hold downs for the top. Price seems adequate though.

I am wondering why that ratchet strap goes all the way around the truck and what happens when it is removed?

That strap holds the top down, gas tank up, and both rear quarters in

That's why I said that on my post. Haha. Probably the rear bolts are Snapped so he can't use The stock Bolts Anymore.

Nobody likes the suspenders (though the front as well)? Tough crowd. How's this for a project then and located in the midwest: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Bl...US_Cars_Trucks

Re: Anyone after a 1970 Jimmy project?
The ad does state "auto removable top" just release the strap and drive, the top will remove itself. Really not a bad deal, the tires probably cost close to the asking price and they look new.
