Re: Snow plow with lifted truck
2" of lift will not be a problem at all. One of my buddies has a plow on a truck with 4" and 35's and does fine.

Re: Snow plow with lifted truck
Should be fine with the lift, though the 7-1/2 foot and 12-1/2" wide tires may be less than ideal. You may be running over your own furrows pushing snow. Just something to think about.

Re: Snow plow with lifted truck
I don't think you'll have any issue. Just adjust the chain to make sure you have enough free play when its on the ground.

Re: Snow plow with lifted truck
You will have to be careful about hitting items with th plow down. Too much force will bend the truck frame, if you are using stock plow brackets. The plow angle will put forces up, not back as it was designed to do... If you are careful and plow slow, it will be fine.

Re: Snow plow with lifted truck
I ran several K20's with 4in. lift and 33's, it actually helps the cutting edge get a better bite with the mount a little higher.

Re: Snow plow with lifted truck
It would for scraping, or popping big rocks out of a gravel drive My Fisher had 3 mounting points on the A frame for angle adjustment. I did have to play with the adjustment and speed of plowing to keep the blade on the ground. Their trip edge design and if angle was too great, would pop the plow blade into the air hitting these rocks. Same rocks would also snap the shear pins on my snowblower, soo... Digging them up wasn't viable as they were 8" plus in diameter (one was over 3') it was much easier on my back to adjust the blade.

Re: Snow plow with lifted truck
Better than that, I moved south!
Actually this was in the middle of the driveway, skimming would have left me with ice in the ruts, ice that may still be there in April. (oh, btw, it was in Maine.)
