Chroming the inner grille on a 69/70?

I was wondering if you could get the inner grille on a 69 or 70 chromed or doing something other than painting it black like they usually are. Anyone got pictures or ideas of something different?

There's a place in Canada that chromed my repro tailight plastic bezels for my 56' victoria. Looks awesome and i found out that the coating on my bezels while it looks exactly like chrome it infact is a sprayed on coating. Wild stuff.

How about a base / clear paint in a dark silver. I'd try that and see how it looks first. That would be easy and cheap!!
