Replacing side vent windows
I have a 65 and I am looking for information and vendors on removing the side vent windows with a solid piece of glass. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Replacing side vent windows
It isnt very easy or worth it from what I have heard to have the one piece glass, there isnt a "kit" for the 64-66 trucks, there is one for the 67-72 though, you could maybe make one of those work for you, Brothers and One Piece products have them
here is a thread about this also. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=391948

Re: Replacing side vent windows
http://www.classictruckglass.com/index.php/ makes a kit for the 60-63 but not the 64-66. When I contacted them about it, they said they don't produce one for the 64-66 because the top hinge is in the way and would have to be redone somehow.
Others like in the link above has made them work, a few more threads floating around if you search. |
