Bucket Seats in my Five

I picked up a pair of buckets for my K5 from a fine young man up the road. I also got a tilt column from him. I will mount them up for size, take them back out and have them recovered.

Since you are on post 142 I had to chime in!! Those will look good in there. As I age and get fat the convenience of tilt really shines. Nice looking blaze!!! Good luck!

Nice. I believe those are 73-76 (or so) K5 buckets, offering a bit wider seat area.

Yes they are, the young man stated that they were from that era. I have one from a 72 pass side bucket that is mint, just had a hard time finding the other side. I will compare them both are see what the differences are. The single seat has all the mounting hardware also.

May want to make sure the mounts line up. I think they are different.

You will have to use your original seat Mounts. I got a newer passenger seat from a 75 I believe and it Doesn't Line up. I'm sure driver side is The same. The rear on the later
Models sat up higher too so it's angled wrong for our trucks.

Re: Bucket Seats in my Five

Well, you guys are right, the passenger side didn't line up, but I have a 72 seat and brackets. I mounted the drivers seat and the holes are off.

So I need to find the drivers side bracket for a 72? If you know of anyone, please send them my way
