Lights issue,

I have a fun one for yall. i have a 1984 k10 was orginally a 6.2 detroit now has a gas 350. I redid the engine wiring and the headlights. i was hoping i didnt need to mess with tail lights. After getting a harness for the headlights (i have the 91 suburban grille and lights) i plug it into the fuse panel. now i have no tail lights my brights are the only thing on when i turn on the headlights and i have no tail light or marker lights. THen when I hit the brakes the high beams stay on but now my regular headlights flash on, still no tail light action.
I have read on some threads here about the wiring daigram for the tail lights but not where it connects to the actual fuse panel/ main harness.
If any one has a picture or diagram that would help alot.
