parting 1988 crew cab
Parting out a 1988 crew cab dually. cab is in primer but still needs a little body work but cab corners and rockers have already been done so virtually no rust on the cab. I do have title for the cab to go with it. All of the doors are virtually rust free. front fenders are new aftermarket, cowl hood. Its pretty much a complete truck minus engine, transmission, bed, front and rear axles. I will get pictures when I can of the parts you want. I have a lot of other 73-87 chevy parts I am willing to part with. Just let my know with what you want and i'll get price. Right now I'm not really available to do shipping right now so only local pickup, but I can hold things for as long as you want. I am located in northwest Ohio
Inner fenders sold, frame sold, cowl hood sold, dash pad sold. front seats sold, fuel tanks sold

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
If you get to where you are able to ship, I need the fuel tank selector switch along with the harness for it , the selector valve, and harness for the pumps if this was a dual tank truck.

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
yes it is a dual tank truck. I can check at work monday if I can ship out from there. And I thought about it that if i use the flat rate boxes i'll go that route to ship smaller items. For all those parts I would say $150 sound fair plus shipping? I just know those valves are not cheap to buy new.

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
Ok, so I was going off of memory on how much the valve was and just looked up what a new one was through napa and they were cheaper than I remembered. If you want everything $75, or switch and harness $50

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
Well I'm not very happy, the selector valve must be leaking internally because when I took the connector off there was fuel in it, then to make matters worse it looks like a previous owner cut some of the wires for the harness and did a horrible job splicing them. So as much as I hate to say it I just don't feel comfortable selling them and having it look bad on me selling a part you wouldn't be happy with. I apologize for the false hope.

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
I'm thinking I would like $1000 for the cab. I am looking for a cab for a 67-72 truck thats in good shape that I would trade for also. I do have clean title for my cab also. I will try to get some pictures here in a little bit

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
As you see, the cab is pretty good, I did replace the cab corners, and rear outer rockers, but front rockers and all inners are original. There is a little surface rust showing through in a couple spots but that would be sanded off pretty easily.

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
Do you have any interior trim plastic pieces? I need the pillars for each side of the windshield.

If HD Cooling, radiator top same level as core support, still have brackets that go from core support to fan shroud top?

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
I do have interior trim pieces, what color are you looking for? the ones I have are the off white color. They are at my mom and dads yet so when I get over there I will look at condition if your still interested.
It is HD cooling, or at least has the diesel radiator if they are the same as the regular hd radiator

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
Rustoleum is cheap so color isnt an issue. Just the condition. Let me know, thanks!

Can you get me a picture of the bracket (s) from the core support that holds the top of the radiator and fan shroud, please. Along with a price.

Re: parting 1988 crew cab
I have to appologize for not getting back with anybody. Had some deaths in the family that this was last on my list of things to do. The brake proportioning valve i'm keeping for my next build(if i get it done, lol). Headliner trim I do have yet, its the off white color. you pick it up and its $20. I do not have the speed sensor wiring because of all the options this truck had, cruise was not one of them and being 88 still had the mechanical speedo. And I hate to say this because I know i'm really limiting the people who I would be selling to, but i really don't want to deal with shipping.
