lower my square 2 inches front and rear?
Fitted these 17 inch wheels 8 inch wide front 9 inch rear running 235/60 and 275/55 and now want to drop it down 2 inches both ends.Not much of a drop but thats all I want.
How can I lower the rear 2 inches ?Seems like lowering less than 4 inches is difficult as all the kits I can find are for 4 inches? |

What wheels are those? You can buy just shackles to lower the rear 2"

You can cut one full coil up front and put drop shackles out back. Only thing you have to notch the bed support to clear the longer shackle. If you don't want to cut the coils up front, you can buy drop springs.

Is cutting the front springs ok or is it better to fit new ones and I guess there is enough travel in the shocks to allow for a 2 inch drop without a change?
Not sure what make the wheels are.Saw them on a corvette outside the tire shop and just told them to fit a set of those.Some sort of alloy rally replica. I do know I had my 15 inch Gragars balanced twice trying to get rid of front end shake and was told they were good.But with the new wheels and tires it now it rides as smooth as my wife's car at any speed. |

I prefer drop spindles. Drop hangers will get you 2 inches and not have to notch the bed. They will improve your anti squat a little bit too.

check ur inbox sir!!! its not that hard to notch the bed support at all an it doesn't make anything weak etc an yes the hangers are riveted to them frame an all can be removed with bed on
