Carpet for CST blazers
I am getting ready to purchase carpet and side panels for my 72 CST blazer. LMC is the only supplier that I have found that offers carpet for CST or non CST blazers. I have heard some talk about the panels being tight to get on with new carpet! Does this take care of the problem if you get carpet for a CST blazer? If someone has run in to problem or has gotten carpet from LMC, please let me know how it turned out! Thanks Drillrod

Re: Carpet for CST blazers
The repro carpet sets include pieces to cover the wheel wells, which GM never did. If I was to re-carpet my K5 I would skip the pieces for the wheel wells. In doing so you should have no problem with fitment for the side panels and you can display the jack instructs decal as was originally intended if still in place.

Exactly, where was the decal located on the blazers? If anyone has pictures, please show! Thanks Drillrod.

Re: Carpet for CST blazers
Got my carpet from here and couldn't be happier. It is ACC carpet which is good quality and has free shipping. When I bought it it was a little cheaper but that was 4 years ago and was cheaper then LMC even before you added LMC shipping cost.

Re: Carpet for CST blazers
Agree with BBrendal. I also got ACC carpet in a special order color (sandalwood) for my parchment interior. Very happy with the fit and finish. I did use the carpet over the wheel wells and trimmed my aftermarket side panels to fit. I wanted to quiet down the interior as much as possible, so I ended up putting Fat Mat on the tub floor, walls, and wheel wells and covered it all in carpet. However, stock style exposed painted wheel wells with carpeting is a very nice look.

Re: Carpet for CST blazers
I ended up removing the carpet off of my wheel well housings so that I could install my side panels. I also like the look of the wheel well housings without the carpet. My floor carpet fit nicely up to the side panels. Wonder where I could get a jacking instruction decal?
