Need help with EFI fuel line

I am installing a Boyd Welding EFI fuel tank and an LT1 motor in my 71 C10 shortbed. What are you guys doing for fuel lines? I'd like to install an inline filter on the inside of the frame rail. Not sure what kind of those to get either.

Well, I'm figuring it out. I've got a shopping cart with a bunch of Russell hoses, but I'm stuck on how I join them to the fuel rail. here is a picture of my fuel rail. It looks like there is a fitting that will convert this to -6AN?

You might check the "conversions" section on LS1Tech.com. I used a couple quick connect ends like in your pic to install a Corvette fuel filter/pressure regulator before my Walbro in line pump(low pressure/prepump). Then I used push lock connectors and versaflares to connect hard lines to push lock line. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. I called Jegs and got a lot of help and prices. The Boyds tank comes with an Aeromotive pump that is apparently a very nice one. The guy at Jegs told me I should get a better filter than I was looking at but the filter alone is $110 with brackets and fittings.

You may can use the hoses from a later truck or car. I did a TPI conversion on a '72 SWB and used the fuel tank and complete lines from a S10 Blazer. I had to do 2 splices (used hydraulic unions, not low pressure ones) but I had steel line, not the later plastic. Look for '93-96 Caprice/Roadmaster. They had LT1 and fuel tank at the back.

I should have taken the lines out of the car, but I didn't like the nylon lines. It seemed like they would be too easy to cut or burn.

True, but they are not affected by ethanol fuel. Evil stuff, but a fact of life these days.

Mine is only one step further along, clamped onto the frame rails. I'll bolt it in this weekend.

I have ordered the JEG's version of those and should have them tomorrow. I think I am going with braided hoses, just for ease of installation. it's more expensive, but not that much more.
