Inside the Doors.
What are y'all using to protect the inside of your doors? I'm about to redo the lower half of the doors. While I have it accessible I was thinking about using por-15 to about an inch above the opening on the door and and about an inch on the repair panels. Then when I'm about to weld everything together use weld through primer for those last 2 inches thatvare bare... Thoughts/opinions?

Re: Inside the Doors.
I blasted mine, sprayed rustoleum rusty metal primer and semi gloss black to thew inside. Then I put the outer skin on. I figured I didn't have to go to expensive because it didn't have it before. So now it has some protection.

Check 3M 08964
Comes in an aerosol can also. I haven't tried it but if you are only doing 2 doors should be enough. |
