inline 6 w/v8 tone
yeah i have a straight 6 in my truck 250 i was wondering if i could put an exaust to give it a nice tone but not sound like a ricer when floored or on the freeway any of you guys have done this or know what will do the job. just cause right now its to quiet

Have you ever been to the Clifford Performance site. If not, you should, because they have all your 6 cylinder needs....

Well... just dont put 40 series flowmasters on it. I had them on my old 250 I6 and it droned like no tommorow. Im not too sure what muffler would really give you a good tone. Ive never heard Aerochambers on a I6, maybe you should give that a try

Just use a good 'ol sonic turbo & 2.25" pipe, then dump it @ the rear axle.

Back in the '80's, I saw an exhaust manifold from a heavy-duty truck with the 292 engine, & it had two outlets. Remember a 250 with single exhaust is like half of a 500 with duals. Big pipe is good. |

Stovebolt Engine Company Check out some of the video clips. Those inlines sound pretty good. My boat has a 250 I6 and it sounds just as throaty as any small block v8 on the water with stock exhaust. Mike Grand Haven, MI
