110 Octane Gas
I bought 4 gallons of it today at the race track for the big block V twin I have in my golf cart. I was thinking about putting some in the truck but don't know if I should since it has lead in it.
It's rated @ 110 but figured it would be deluted down into the 90's after I filled the 42 gallon tank up. Do you think it would be any benefit to it? Clean up the inside of the injectors are valves? Anything.

Re: 110 Octane Gas
Not worth it on a stock engine. Save your money.

Re: 110 Octane Gas
I was just going to use a couple of gallons in the tank. I have enough to do 2 tank's for the cart right now and was wondering if it worth it, doesn't sound like it though!

Re: 110 Octane Gas
It'll just be wasted heat energy, you won't have a way to make any more power with it. Race gas only becomes useful when you have a tune setup for it. You can mix it into a regular tank, but again, folks usually run a different tune for that, otherwise its just gas as far as the engine is concerned.

Re: 110 Octane Gas
Ok then I'm going to save the 4 gallons for the cart engine. Going to use 2 gallon to every 5 gallons. I had the motor built this past summer by Al Hodge in Monroe NC he is the GooRoo on V Twins and his shop does all the Bandolero motors for the legend cars. Going to run it just to make the guy's ask what is that smell! That stuff smells wonderful. The lawm mower guys swear by it in their V Twins.

Re: 110 Octane Gas
The lead will also mess up your O2 sensors. It might be diluted enough not to cause much issues but not worth the risk. Plus all the reasons above.

Re: 110 Octane Gas
You can get away with a fair amount of lead on O2 sensors if you run it hard. Cats plug up really fast though.

Re: 110 Octane Gas
Yea I knew the lead was bad for the 0-2's, no cats on the truck. I'll just use it for the Golf cart as planned!
