Angry Need Brake Help ASAP!!!

As I thought my brake lights aren't working after I checked them out last night pulling in and didn't see a light coming back off the neighbor's windows. So I checked today and here's what I've found out-

Light bulbs are ok, turn signals and hazards work, fuse is good, brake pedal switch is good (otherwise lights would be on all the time), and have plenty of travel to activate the switch to kick on (switch is push off when pedal returns). I'm stumped on this one and my shop manual has nothing on this either.

Any ideas? I need to fix this ASAP!!!

Jumper the wires on the brake switch to see if they come on. If so, I would suspect the switch.

I'm hoping it's just the switch. I'll try to change that out and see if it works then.

Never assume the obvious. The switch could break, or stick internally, and the lights would not come on....
