Code p0151 HELP!
Ok, a little info engine is a Ls1 out of a 1998 Camaro, harness was modified buy Howell. When I first fired the engine I noticed the right side exhaust was running rich, I didn't see the check engine light so I thought that maybe it would clear up with more run time being the engine sat for 6 months.
When I manually grounded the fan relay it thru a code p0481 and p0151. So now I have checked the o2 sensor, continuity from the plug to the PCM, and the voltage from the PCM, everything checks out. Using a scan tool bank 1 shows voltage moving around in closed loop, bank 2 shows zero voltage in closed or open loop. I'm I missing something. Thanks |

Re: Code p0151 HELP!
Unplug the O2 sensor, The voltage feedback should be around 1/2 a volt (.500 millivolts), If voltage is still low, Un-pin the Bank 2 Sensor 1 signal wire at the PCM, If the voltage is now at a 1/2 volt....The signal wire is shorted to ground in the harness. If the voltage is still zero....Faulty PCM.
