My '69 K5 project
I have had this project since 2006. I did a bunch of work to it early on, and then lost interest in it when my then new shop got busy. I tried to sell it a couple times half ass, but as you can see I still have it.
Truck was in pretty decent shape as Blazers go, I have seen a lot worse. Had to replace both rockers, few specific Blazer only patch panels from GMC Paul when he first released them, front quarter patches due to bad "B" pillars. I also did the first round of bodywork and primed everything. That basically brings the body up to today. Rear floor has a big sway in it, so it was replaced along with new wheel tubs. I wanted a cleaner appearance so I installed a gas door from a 96 chevy pickup old tailgate was beat to death so a new one was fitted. I had another original for this truck but was put on another project in the shop. Last but not least for this post is a 6.0 was purchased to replaced the 350 and sent to my buddy to have it rebuilt.

Re: My '69 K5 project
I took the floor brackets out of a Suburban and grafted them into the floor of the Blazer. I had a brand new 3rd row seat out of an 1988 Suburban that I am using.
Since I am using vintage air, I smoothed the firewall and reshaped it where the blower motor was Scored this center console as well. Plastic is in perfect conidition I also started making the cover for the fuel fill nozzle on the inside. Will look like a factory piece when done. you will also notice I modified the floor the floor corrugations so I would have a flat spot to mount the cover.

Re: My '69 K5 project
Small update, finished the gas fill tube cover. Should be able to get the Vintage air mocked up this week and get the body ready to go on the chassis for final panel fitment before resuming bodywork.
