Mirror Pics for Gman
Hey G man, here's the pics you asked for. They're from an 84 Monte Carlo. Bought them on ebay. Had them painted when I did the truck.

How good a field of view do you get out of those things? I think it will be a change going from the dumbo ears.

Actually they work pretty good. Almost just as good as the dumbos.

Were you able to attach these mirrors to the stock upper 2 mounting holes, or did you have to drill new mounting positions?

Had to drill new holes. Ground the old mounts off with a grinder and they just fell out with a tap of a hammer.

Thanks for the pics. Looks like the Camaro set I have in the garage have a shorter mount than yours. Guess that's why they did not fit right. Looks like I might have to reconsider the Monte Carlo SS mirrors.
