hmmm, interior decorating seems to be a little on the sparse side.

Not done yet. I'm going to have an upholstery shop make custom carpet for it. Probably in a light brown to tie into the dash and seat. The headliner will be the same material that is on the seat. The outside of the truck will be the green that the top of the dash is. The insides of the doors will be the light brown with the green on the inserts.

roger55, i really like the color combo. the paint is impressive for door jambs, i can't find anyone that will make them as slick as the outside. yours looks great. I've got three paint guns on the way, just going to start doing them myself. and where did you buy your guage setup?
I tried to delete this but can't, its amazing i can fix a truck but can't delete a paragraph. Last edited by Gill 58 apache; 04-08-2015 at 08:19 AM. |

My gauge setup is a panel made by Boese Engineering and I bought the Auto Meter gauges separately and wired it all up myself. The paint is Pro-Spray single stage and I used an Iwata LPH-101 gun with a sidewinder cup for the inside. For the outside of the truck I will use my Iwata LPH-400 gun. Take a look at my build thread as I have detailed info about my paint, procedures and such there. |

Re: need ideas on 55-59 interior. pics please.
I did look at some of the build threads Ogre, and took some screen shots of yours, really liked your speakers in the cab corners and kick panels. However wasn't able to find many more in a search, and the ones I did were from years back. And figured there may be more by now. I've been looking at "Hix Design", they did a really cool 59, just want as many ideas as possible before I build one and then find something I wish I had incorporated into my build. Thanks again for your help and info

Thats what I'm trying to decide on, buckets and a custom console or a custom/original bench. and I'm trying to decide if its worth going all out like the 59 that hix design did.

I didn't want it polished so I took some fine sandpaper and carefully used it in one direction for a brushed look. |

Stock bench. Tim at Vice in Hickory NC did the work. He is one talented guy. He did the fabrication on my truck and now he's doing my interior.
