So I see most use the 621 BBC bellhousing. but wouldn't the gm 460486 bellhousing work with the ls7 throw out bearing, sach 1050 clutch kit, and 5.3 truck flywheel?

The m20 is a car transmission ans has a 4 5/8 pilot This bellhousing is 5 1l8 so you need an adapter to use it

Re: 5.3/m20 muncie 4 speed bellhousing question
The LS 7 pilot bearing , works with the gen 1 clutch set up....I have a 1955 cast bell, on the back of my 2000 Ls 5.3. It is backed with a 6 spd Richmond, with standard mechanical clutch linkage. If you are going hydraulic, I cant help I did not play that? I used the sachs 1050 flywheel, with the gen I clutch setup. . 3 of the holes on the press plate, needed to be drilled /reamed carefully, about 1/64 inch (.015/.016). the Sachs flywheel, takes the metric bolts ....Use the ls1, ARP bolts, on the crank & the clutch hat. The flywheel bolts , go all thew (red loc tight to seal. On the bell housing, the last guy did not 'bull ****" you.....67 back, would fit the car trans...68 on, did not Longhorn
