haha....ive said the same thing about 63 grills many times. Poor design on the trim rings lets the water pool and the rings rust.
Another reason I've gone to aluminum on all mine. Dents easier, but won't rust.

The 63 grills are either missing parts or smashed up, I just don't get it!
So the rusting solution would be to drill a hole at the bottom of the ring?
