Got Lucky found a nice 69 C20
Got Lucky and was able to get quickly to this 1969 C20 and get it added to my Stable. The truck is really solid and straight but the wood PU bed is unbelievable.

Re: Got Lucky found a nice 69 C20
Great find. I am guessing it had a camper or shell on it for a good part of its life.

Re: Got Lucky found a nice 69 C20
You are correct. It had a 9'6" cabover pickup camper on it since 1972.

Re: Got Lucky found a nice 69 C20
Tried to get a member interested in that as a family rig last week. What happened to the Mitchell camper?

Re: Got Lucky found a nice 69 C20
Turquoise is one of those great '69 colors that ended too soon! I see "first design" shallow front hubcaps. The camper boom during this era extended the lives of many 3/4 tons.

Re: Got Lucky found a nice 69 C20
That is one way to get a great truck. The cab-over campers protected the cab from rain and these trucks were not abused like their working brothers. Nice find!

Nice truck! Did you get the tailgate with it? It may be in the rafters of one of the buildings there. That's where mine was.... LockDoc
