What is this ? Bracket on frame

I have a 72 c10 , on the left frame rail behind the engine there is bracket, with nothing on it. I have found this pic of what I think goes there ?

Maybe its just me but I can't see what you are asking by the picture. Can you blow up or zoom in with the picture?

The piece you circled in the picture is a clutch bracket for a stick shift truck. That bracket attaches to a bracket riveted to the top of the frame rail. I think that isthe one you are talking about?

there is another thin almost sheet metal bracket that is an exhaust pipe hangar, not sure if that was on the driver's or passenger side though.....

Yea that's it . So it that bracket riveted on all trucks even if they are auto trans?

That's the bell crank for the clutch pedal on a manual trans vehicle.

Is your truck an automatic? (perhaps converted from a manual).
