Rebuilt the hinges but cant get it come up enough to line up the body line

Bolts from hinge to cab control vertical, original hinges?? Did you replace the hinge pocket metal on the cab?? Original door?? Does the latch line up, you need to have the latch in place because it affects the back vertical alignment. PIcs of the hinges would help diagnose too.

I have taken the vertical up a far as it will go.Did not replace hinge pocket it's in real good shape,latch is a little low but it works if i line up crack around the door then the latch is to low and hits the striker plate.

I could probably help you fix it easier than I can tell you how to do it.

What I would do is loosen up the bolts that hold the door to the top hinge enough to slip the top back a bit to even up the gap at the top even though it will be more than you want.
Then raise the door to get your lines closer together. A jack or a strong and patient helper go a long ways here.

You may end up elongating the holes in the hinge to get more adjustment before you are done.

It's going to be a little bit by little bit process with a bit of hair pulling mixed in for good measure before you are done.

Thanks for your info i think my best bet is to elonggat the hing holes in the hinge

Do not understand how they fit before and now do not. But try opening up the slotted holes per Mr48.

When i bought the truck the doors where on it but the striker plates were not i found the striker plate it had a big groove where the latch was hitting it.

How did you rebuild the hinges. If you removes the hinge pin itself are you certain the right halves were put back together.
I assume you have followed the service manual?

It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
