manifolds
Is it hard to replace the manifolds on my 1978 Chevy C10 Custom Deluxe 305? I get a lot of fumes from that truck. I get a little white smoke from the exhaust too. I think it needs a head gasket. But I think I am going to buy a new 350 engine for it. That 305 doesn't seem to have the power my old 250 6 had. Thanks, Al

Re: manifolds
When it comes to exhaust be ready to deal with breaking off bolts/studs.What has kinda helped to me is take pb blaster and spray every bolt the night before and let it sit over night before you break them loose.

Re: manifolds
I sprayed the bolts on top and loosend 3 or 4 of them pretty easy. Couldn't reach the others.....looks like I am going to have to climb down in there. At the bottom where they hook to the pipe is a heat riser I think. Is that where they call them studs? Thanks, Al
