Swivel buckets in a 72 C10
So I have a set of swivel buckets out of a late 70's Monte Carlo that I was gonna throw in my moms El Camino, but now she says she does not want them. So now I'm thinking about putting them in my C10, anyone done this before? If so, got pics? Thanks

It seems like there would be others doing this. I think it would be a cool set up!

Think they might be to big for our trucks. Not really alot of room for then. ??

Re: Swivel buckets in a 72 C10
Gonna get outside this weekend and do some measuring. Allot of the trucks I've seen here with buckets looks like they have stuffed some pretty big seats in there. The only think I'm worried about is the height, but getting some brackets made won't be a big deal.

A lot of people use the 99-07 seats and they too are HUGE!!!

Re: Swivel buckets in a 72 C10
I have a set of swivel buckets from a 76 Monte Carlo in my 69 K10. I'm 5'-7" tall and they fit me perfect with them slid all the way back. Anybody that is taller than me doesn't fit very well. They can only be swiveled if they are slid forward to get them away from the gas tank. They are a very comfortable seat and they work well with a stock console.

A good set of swivel buckets sell for the same range as a set of buddy buckets $1,000.00 +

Re: Swivel buckets in a 72 C10
On my morning craigslist review, I noticed two sets of swivel's - one ofr $300 and one for $450 in the Lexington, KY and Cincinnatti areas. I thought some on here might be interested.
