Trim Help

Can anyone give me some hints as to how to remove the wide lower trim from a 1970 GMC 3/4 Ton?

Thanks
Tom

The trim is held on by a few different types of clip. Feel in behind the bedside panel for 3/8" umbrella nuts. I think the door trim is held in with snap clips. You have to pull the inner door panel to get at those. The very forward part of the door trim has a small nut which is cunningly situated right under the hinge.

You can wish in one hand and crap in the other.
See which one gets filled first.
