Parting out GMC Jimmy

I picked up this 1977 GMC Jimmy for the Hickey roof rack and storage shelf. It had already been somewhat parted out but does still have a few good pieces. The doors are gone and the front clip is gone. Has a turbo 350 transmission, I am not sure what transfer case it has. Want $500 for the complete chassis with tranny and transfer case. The body is rough but may have some useable patch panels.
Hickey Roof rack $300
Tight Auto tilt column no key $125
Blazer receiver hitch $75
Shipping not included. If there are any other parts needed, please contact me for a price

Will add prices on the other parts as soon as I get it home today.

Re: Parting out GMC Jimmy

Hey....were you still going to send some GMC grill pics my way? I just need to know if you were and/or if you might want to work something out harness/wise-I have a guy with a really nice 77 GMC grill that's on standby....I talked with you about it first so I thought I'd work with you on it-but, if not no biggie just let me know so I can let him know that I'll take his grill. Thanks!

No worries about the woodgrain bezel-I found a nice one in a salvage yard that will restore very nicely! I looked at about 300-400 trucks at least and only found 1 woodgrain bezel out of a K5. Last time I went I grabbed one from a 74 Super Cheyenne Longhorn edition truck. I didn't see the Blazer one before because it was sitting on its side under a tree! Lol I literally climbed in through the collapsed hardtop to retrieve it!

I didn't sell it but haven't decided what to do with it. It is so nice I hate to let it go.

Re: Parting out GMC Jimmy

I responded to your PM. Roof rack is in good shape. The only reason it is for sale is that I have 2. I have accumulated quite a bit of Hickey stuff

Re: Parting out GMC Jimmy

Does this have the manual rear window? If so what shape is the handle in and the rubber seals on top of the tailgate?

Re: Parting out GMC Jimmy

That's ok I figured I would look on here before I feed LMC more money.

Re: Parting out GMC Jimmy

I would ask around before sending LMC money. There should be some good quality used or maybe someone can suggest a good quality aftermarket one. For the most part, I have been very dissatisfied about the quality of LMC items. If you need an exterior handle, I may have a NOS one in my parts stock.

Re: Parting out GMC Jimmy

I'm sure a NOS one would triple the value of the jimmy it's going on. So I will continue looking for a good used one or a cheap Chinese one from LMC.
