Sadly, the Stepper has got to go.

This site has been a TON of help with my truck. Been a faithful Daily Driver for nearly five years. Bought a new toy and without storage space, the truck's gonna' have to go. Need to spend some time cleaning and checking stuff before I have to part with it.

Re: Sadly, the Stepper has got to go.

I always liked the G-body wagons. Crisp clean no BS styling. I'm sorry to see you letting the red truck go. It's one of my favorites. I wish I had a fund stashed for a truck. You need to honor your truck with pictures in this thread so we can enjoy it one last time

Thanks for the comments, guys. This car has been fully rebuilt by a father/son team in their body shop. They set all the gaps, removed the roof rack, wheel well trim, etc. Powered by an '88 Camaro 305 TPI/700R4. I bought it in NW Illinois and "flogged it" home (~850 mi.) with no problems.

FWIW - I owned a"55 Nomad back in the early sixties and you couldn't give a "station wagon" away...

I'm at work, will try to find and post a few pics. when I get home.

I'm having the truck given a thorough once-over before I put it up for sale..

That's a good looking wagon. One of my favorite cars I had was....don't laugh. ..71 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser 455/400. 14.0 in the 1/4 mile and the kids loved the rear facing third seat and Windows in the roof. Still wondering why I sold it.

X2...or keep them both

I understand if you can't fit the family in the truck but dang that doesn't seem like a fair trade

UPDATE - Listed the truck on E-Bay Sunday afternoon. Sold it "BUY-IT-NOW" before midnight. Hate to see it go but time heals all wounds. Sold to a dealer in Fla. Watch for it to show up again, somewhere.

Re: Sadly, the Stepper has got to go. -UPDATE

Hope this doesn't upset moderators:Found my old stepper online at a Classic Truck site. Buyer obviously gave the old girl a coat of paint, which it needed. Still having regrets about selling, but simply didn't have room to store. Crate 350 with 200R4. A damn nice driver!

Re: Sadly, the Stepper has got to go.

Ad I saw said "Contact Dealer". Figured I would'nt get a straight answer. I am sorta curious, though. Out of consideration for the Moderators here, I wouldn't name the site. Shouldn't be hard to find, though. Google 1970 Chevrolet C10 for sale................

As for the "Station Wagon" comment, tell me how to travel LONG distances with my wife and all our luggage in a short-bed C10. Wagon damn sure has a "trunk".

Found my stepper at Primo Classics Int. - Listed for $16,999 !!!!
A tad more than I sold it for. Lot of money for a quickly paint job.
