Will this patch work?
Hey guys, looking to start ordering patches for the 71 k5, I am wondering if this one will cover what I need on the outside???

It might not have the ridge detail around the arch. Your best bet is to find someone selling original metal patches on the parts board if you want the best fit. Did you need the whole patch front to back? If you just need the wheel arch area then you could use a piece from a pickup.

No, it wont work !! I got into the same issue with my Blazer. The lower rear bed section is unique to the Blazer and not available. How bad is yours? Is the rear part salvageable?

Looks like you could just get a piece from a pickup to use as a patch. You don't need to replace the entire length by the looks of it. Here is what I did earlier this year.
