in the process of redoing our 56 3100, we are at the stage of whether we redo the bed we have or find something in decent shape or purchase new metal.

looking for info on finding a bed.

search on craigslist and ebay for 1955-1966 beds. when i bought my truck it had a 1988-98 bed on it.... id search online every chance i got .. something will turn up if you search... a new Mar-K bed+new fenders and steps + wood kit, youre easily looking at betwen 2 and 3 thousand dollars

there are several Craigs list search engines that will search all the CL's in the country at once. just google craigslist search engines or all craigslist. Its quite helpfull when looking for something specific. I know some of them you can also
narrow your search to an area within 1-300 miles from your zip code.
