56 on CL

Disclaimer: its not mine!
I allways check CL and found this, I kept looking at the photos and couldn't figure out what he did to the truck until I read the whole ad. I am so used to the trucks the way they are that this one looks a little odd to me. For each person a truck is a canvas to express one's self.

Nice truck, a little pricey, but well done.

This is California, everything is pricey. Basket cases are 3K, no engine or trans and normal rust.

Re: 56 on CL

I've seen pictures of this truck before and always liked the way it "looked". Now I know why. It flows well. A friend did something very similar with his '55 Ford and it looked very good also.

Re: 56 on CL

Well, if you compare this truck to the ones for sale for 15-20K, it's really not all that bad of a deal. Gotta throw in the uptick on the big back glass too!

Re: 56 on CL

As a California guy I still think it's a bit too pricey.

Also, no one else commented that it's listed as a '56 but it's got '57 fender emblems. I looked and it doesnt appear to have the '57 grill notches in front so who knows. Probably a conglomeration of parts from various trucks.
