Re: Question about crossover steering
I read somewhere that someone made a high steer bracket that placed the connecting rod behind the knuckle specifically to make room in front for both the drag link and a sway bar fitted with disconnects. Pirate or CK5 perhaps?

Re: Question about crossover steering
Cross over is the only way to go on these trucks I have two 78 one with a 12" lift and a cross over kit and one with a 6" lift with the standard setup I'm taking the 6" and installing it on my dually and it will also get a crossover on it neater truck had a sway bar never know it wasn't on there driving it I wanted to throw rocks at the one with the standard steering setup after driving with the crossover setup I have a off-road design crossover kit and it will turn it from lock to lock which is great

Re: Question about crossover steering
Was it on a stock or aftermarket knuckle?

Re: Question about crossover steering
I honestly don't remember Pat. I'll need to start looking into it again. I want to do a 52" spring swap so I dont want to lose my swaybar. But I would like to go crossover steer. I'll have to go back and redo some homework.
