Anyone done a T5 in a 63 Short bed?
I have a chance to buy a 1985 Camaro rebuilt T 5 with a s10 tail stock on it for my 63 . Is there something about moving the e brake cable assembly? Any help is always appreciated..thank you

You can go 2 different ways with the e-brake mod. You can keep the frame crossmember that holds the factory e-brake assembly and just mount it BELOW the frame rail using spacers like shown in the first photo (1965 C10). Or you can convert the whole e-brake setup to a 1966 style which eliminates the bracket altogether (which is what I did). I'd say moving the frame crossmember below the lower frame rail is the most straight forward solution and is cheaper since you essentially will have nothing to buy. To each his own. I had the parts I needed already for the 66 conversion so I did that but used my original 1965 rear cables. I'm also gonna send you a PM.
