Please help

Hello all I got my 66-72 ijne parking brake kit today yay. However I found out I still need the tension rod and small hooks. I have no donor trucks around. I have a 63 c10 frame and 71 rear end. I am converting to the 66-72 parking brake. Please help. If you ha e suggestions on how to make the parts or have some available for sale thanks

I have a 64 Chassis that has all the parking brake parts on it. I will send you a picture tomorrow and you can let me know if it has what you need. Just pay for shipping and its yours.

1/4 rod 24" long mushroomed on each end with a washer in between. Slide it in from outside the RH frame and the washer prevents it from falling through. There should be a hole in the frame 6" forward of the front of the U section of the cab support. LH side doesn't need one because it is the cable that hooks on to it.

Will try and get some photos but busy at the moment. Start working on that rod. 1/4 rebar would also do the trick.
