New blazer front floor pan?
Heard a while back they were making a complete blazer front pan like they did for the pick ups. Anyone have any info on them if true?
Thanks |

Re: New blazer front floor pan?
Last word I had was that they had stamped one and had issues so they were re-tooling the dies to fix them........not sure if that has happened yet...but I'm waiting until it does.

Re: New blazer front floor pan?
Just curious, aren't the truck floors very similar? Could someone buy a floor for a truck, then not use the very back behind the seats?

Re: New blazer front floor pan?
Yes you just have to cut and bend the back lip that is welded to the knee wall

Re: New blazer front floor pan?
That's what I did and it came out great. I measured from body mounts location to bend and cut the metal to meet the knee wall.

Re: New blazer front floor pan?
Purchased a truck floor cab this summer from Southern Kentucky Classics and I'm the process of final fittting the cab floor in my K5. I to was waiting for the K5 pan to come out but needed to move on. When I was down at Southern Kentucky Classics in July, they said the K5 pan was at least another 6 months out. Here's a link to my progress:

Re: New blazer front floor pan?
Mr. Banshee,
Nice work adapting the truck floor to the Blazer! Has anyone heard if the "true" Blazer floor is available yet.... or is the truck version still the only way to accomplish this repair? BONUS QUESTION: I know that you can buy the front floor patch panels, but is there such a thing as rear front floor panels? (The part that's under the driver and passenger seat areas)??.... don't think I've ever seen that listed for sale. -G
