seat cover 70 suburban custom
Here is a pic of my original seats in my 70 burb. It is the green custom cloth. I just had carsinc.com make me a new front seat cover. It came in the mail last night and it is a perfect match to the original, cant wait to get it installed. They said they did not have a pattern for the middle row seat (wide) so I will be pulling my cover and sending it in so they will use it for a pattern.
Great folks to work with.

Re: seat cover 70 suburban custom
As frugal as the General can be, I'm surprised they made two covers in different sizes. Well three is you include the short second/third seat.
I understand we discussed this in another thread. I'm going another route with my Suburban. I'm stripping down a pair of Blazer buckets now.

Re: seat cover 70 suburban custom
I don't know why, but the first time I saw the pics I thought it was black with green inserts.
I can see now that it is dark olive.

Re: seat cover 70 suburban custom
Been awhile, Pulled the middle seat apart and sent it back to carsinc and they used mine as a pattern for a new one. Dropped this burb off this am to get all the new covers installed and will pick it up later today. Only thing I forgot was I needed to get new arm rests. So will get them ordered this week and post pics soon.

Re: seat cover 70 suburban custom
Do you mind me asking how much you paid for the seat coves? Also, wondering if they do custom covers? I'm looking to see if anyone makes the covers with the plaid inserts.
